Designed to echo the Buddhist architecture of ancient Ayutthaya, Amanpuri’s Villas are discreetly secluded, promising unparalleled privacy and peace. In harmony with their surroundings at the tip of the peninsula, the ocean-front Villas offer sweeping views over the Andaman Sea, whereas Garden Villas are cocooned in tropical flora and shaded by lush vegetation.
Aside from providing exceptional privacy, all Amanpuri’s Villas offer expansive private swimming pools, as well as resident Thai chefs on hand to prepare delicious local cuisine.
Restaurants
There are five in total. Housed in a dramatic open-air pavilion facing the main pool, Buabok serves à la carte breakfast and authentic Thai cuisine, including delicious fresh seafood, for lunch and dinner. Arva restaurant offers expertly prepared Italian dishes for lunch and dinner. From November to April, Nama’s open kitchen sets up just steps from the beach. Sample its delicate Japanese fare, or, if the weather is good, opt for the more hearty pleasures of torch-lit barbecues on the beach. Wood-fired pizzas, grilled seafood and Mediterranean-spiced brochettes are on the menu at the Pool Terrace. If you’re feeling peckish, stop by the Lounge’s counter for fresh mezze, chilled oysters and tempting sliders.

Nama follows Japan’s Unesco-recognised tradition of washoku, a style of cuisine that elevates cooking to an art form that takes years to perfect.
- Arva
Meaning ‘cultivated’, Arva is Amanpuri’s tribute to the earthy, heart-warming dishes of Italy, offering a menu that follows the country’s tradition of ‘cucina del raccolto’. Catch of the day, free range chicken and a cornucopia of market fruits and vegetables are paired with skill and dexterity by executive chef Stefano Artosin to create a sociable, seasonal and sustainable menu showcasing Italian classics in their purest form.
- Buabok
Open both to guests and non-residents, Buabok is Amanpuri’s main restaurant. Set in a pavilion beside the pool, it is a celebration of Thai culture and culinary tradition.
- The Pool Terrace
Open seasonally for lunch, Amanpuri’s Pool Terrace restaurant is reminiscent of a bustling food market, showcasing the freshest catch of the day and prime meats, grilled to order, along with wood-fired pizzas and a vibrant array of Mediterranean salads.
- The Lounge
Taking traditional Mexican streetfood as its central inspiration, Amanpuri’s newest restaurant offers guests a joyful, authentic taste of Latin America. The menu of snacks and light dishes draws culinary inspiration from across Central and South America, complemented by handcrafted cocktails built upon fiery classics – rum, cahacha, pisco, tequila and mezcal. Perfectly suited to Amanpuri’s balmy climate, the focus here is on freshness and vitality, with several raw and vegan options.
