About
Félicité is one of the most dramatically beautiful isles in the 115-island nation and features massive granite boulders and picture-perfect beaches. Measuring 652 acres (264 hectares), the resort embraces and celebrates nature while offering every creature comfort. The consistently warm tropical weather makes the Seychelles an ideal year-round destination.
The hotel is extremely Earth-loving: food is organic and grown on site or sourced locally. Eco-friendly cleaning products, bath products and light bulbs are used throughout the hotel, and grey water is re-used to water the hotel’s plants. The hotel has solar panels and a desalination plant, and also supports a habitat-restoration project on Félicité Island.
All-villa beachside stay Six Senses Zil Pasyon sits on lesser-known private-island Félicité in the Seychelles. Its name rings true: a gasp-inspiring setting of white-sand beaches, soaring rocky outcrops and swaying palm trees does indeed bring on feelings of intense happiness. This boutique stay has an ocean-front pool, an eco-conscious ethic and a handful of eateries who plunder the sea for the freshest seafood. Dip into your private pool, snorkel in the island’s crystal-clear waters, and have your shoulder knots worked loose in the beach-side Six Senses Spa. In the evening, sip from a jar of house-made rum and watch as the sun melts into colours everywhere along the horizon.

Restaurants
Chef Richard Lee’s colourful and creative interpretation of island produce and Creole flavours is one of the highlights of Zil Pasyon, and will surely attract a stream of bookings once the restaurant opens to the lunching public. There’s a non-meat menu in the waterside Ocean Kitchen, where you’ll be hard pressed to choose between super fresh salads of palm heart, prawn and creamy avocado, and citrus-soaked mango and chilli, a Seychellois favourite. And that’s before getting stuck into Green Egg-grilled lobsters, marinated snapper in banana leaves and tongue-tingling ceviches.
A similarly inventive à la carte breakfast (including possibly the best English breakfast I’ve ever eaten) is also served here, while the Island Café offers a more familiar menu of well-executed surf-and-turf. For serious gourmands it’s also possible to book a fine dining experience in the terracotta lined wine cellar, or, if you’re not feeling that hungry, order tapas and hangout in the sultry Lakanbiz rum bar.
Amenities
A top team of 150 international staff lend Zil Pasyon a cosmopolitan atmosphere. They’ve come from some of the best hotels in the world and expertly combine professional service with an effortless and approachable friendliness. Each villa is assigned a Guest Experience Maker (GEM) who helps craft your itinerary while electric buggies ferry you to and from your villa to the Grand Kaz (Main House), Fitness and watersports centre. There’s also a spectacularly sited spa, which deploys biometric technology and is moulded around centuries old granite inselbergs literally grounding wellness acolytes in the island’s earthy embrace.
Although diving is offered as an extra, there’s a whole raft of inclusive activities from stand-up paddle boarding to morning yoga and movie nights on a deck over the sea. If that isn’t enough to occupy several weeks you can book half- and full-day excursions to surrounding islands such as Praslin, La Digue, Curieuse, Grand and Petite Soeur and Aride Island.
